Still toasting after all these years.
Happy 22nd anniversary to us! Here’s a pix of Val and me making a toast at our wedding reception, November 27 1985. It was a beautiful day. We hope — wherever you are — you can raise a glass to love and life with us this weekend as we celebrate.

Val, you are my sun and moon! Happy anniversary, husband.
And thank you Mark, our beautiful marriage is the proudest accomplishment of my life. And every effort I have put into it has served most to shape me into a better Kate, closer to the person I want to be. Now, grown so many seasons in an environment created of our own work — we are so well suited to it, it is so well suited for us — I get the joy of experiencing profound devotion, of being part of something I truly believe in.
