How to make miniature holiday lanterns from Christmas lights

First a word about safety: You should never leave your holiday tree lights on when you are sleeping or not home. You should not use lights on a dry tree. My house has never burned down because I used these “lanterns” on my holiday tree, but that is no guarantee that your house won’t burn down. You may not want to make these lanterns at all. In fact, I don’t think you should.

Now that that’s out of the way — check out the slideshow below to see how I create cool “lanterns” for my holiday tree..

Hey, that’s right! I am now even more gratified that you think the disclaimer is a good one! It was based on the South Park disclaimer:

“All characters and events in this show –even those based on real people– are entirely fictional. All celebrity voices are impersonated … poorly. The following program contains coarse language and due to its content it should not be viewed by anyone.”

    that’s really funny

I figured that if those guys’ lawyers couldn’t disclaim, who could?
