The bedroom and everything was beautiful this afternoon
My test/procedure at the audiologist went well and I am cleared to resume my normal activities tomorrow, including driving. It’s funny how news like that can make everything beautiful. The California sky was California blue. The sunlight caught in my Parisian perfume bottle, made a light show in my cozy bedroom. Val took photographs. The birds sang and Ajax sighed on his pillow.

Man, how weird that whole ear thing was. The procedure and the calcium and everything just seems such an unlikely thing to bring on and take away vertigo. Anyways, hope the cure holds. Last thing we need it you flopping on the floor during our upcoming poker game. Did I say that the writer’s conference is putting me up two nights? I’m thinking game in the room on Saturday, April 26. We’ll order pizza. It will be like the mob dayz. I’m thinking Donna & Ed, Kimmie and Chris, You and Val, Me and Mark, and what say Ethan the Warner Wunderkind and his cool chick? I guess it will depend on whether we can score a suite or not …

Girl, I will show up at any party you are planning, but as for poker, I think I oughta play the Joan Blondel, sassy cocktail tippling spectator.
